This Basilisk fit is part of a set of three, all using the same rigs and low slots. This particular one is an ideal Basilisk fit for Vanguard fleets. The addition of the Remote Sensor Booster is a boon to battleship-heavy fleets. The Remote Sebo will greatly decrease their lock time. Alternately, a Tracking Link can be fitted instead.

Mining Drone II x5
This variation of the Basilisk fit above is intended for Nation Mining Colonies. The afterburner and mining drones allow this Basilisk to mine an NMC while the rest of the fleet kills the rats. It should only take a cycle or two -- about two minutes -- for this Basilisk to complete its mining job. Replacing the mining drones with the standard rep drones also makes this fitting ideal for Assaults and lighter HQ sites where the additional speed aids in completing sites like the Overwhelmed Civilian Facility or reaching the distant gates of a True Power Provisional HQ.

This variation of the Basilisk has been covered previously. The only change to that fit is the inclusion of the Ancillary Current Router II to solve the power problem noted in that blog entry.

The most inexpensive logi, this Scimitar fit is cap-stable at Logistics V, out-reps many standard incursion Basilisks, and includes a Tracking Link for the benefit of turret-heavy fleets. Downshifting to all Tech1 rigs and a Tech2 Tracking Link will make this ship even more inexpensive, ideal for risking on low-sec mothership fleets or other risky propositions. Armor drones add to the Scimitar's flexibility, allowing it to rep armor damage that might be sustained in a tough incursion site.
Jester's ramblings about EVE Online, MMOs, gaming, geek philosophy, and -- very occasionally -- life.
Welcome to Jester's Trek.
I'm your host, Jester. I've been an EVE Online player for about six years. One of my four mains is Ripard Teg, pictured at left. Sadly, I've succumbed to "bittervet" disease, but I'm wandering the New Eden landscape (and from time to time, the MMO landscape) in search of a cure. You can follow along, if you want...

You have "Photon Scattering Field II" in your first Basi fit. I can't find anything with that name. Did you mean EM?
ReplyDeleteYep, that's the old name for the EM Ward Field II.
